We offer services to customize Dhyan NetMan and Dhyan SmartMan applications. This allows you to deliver a customized scalable management solution to manage your device whether it is a network element or a smart meter. Since this approach leverages existing components to deliver a management solution, it is best suited to deliver a management system when time to market is extremely critical.
Once you provide us with a high level MRD (Market Requirements Document) for your management system and an overview of your device workings and capabilities, we can provide you with a budgetary estimate of the investment that would be required to get your management system in place along with a high level schedule.
After the budgetary estimate is approved, we begin the functional specification phase. In this phase we have a senior Dhyan consultant visit your premises and work with your engineers and product managers to develop a detailed functional specification of your management system which could be about 100 pages long (it is fairly detailed!). This phase culminates in the approval of the functional specification by you.
After the functional specification is approved, we provide you with a firm proposal which includes the investment that would be required to deliver a management solution for your device along with the project schedule and the project deliverables. Upon approval of the proposal the customization work is started. During the course of the customization work you will be kept informed of the progress of the project through weekly project meetings and emails etc.
Dhyan has a strong track record of delivering customization projects on schedule and under budget and thus exceeding customer expectations . Once the customization is completed, we have a formal technology transfer program to train your development team on the management application so that you can take future developments in-house. If you would like us to continue to do future developments and maintenance, we would be glad to do so and would act as your extended development team .
